Longze Station Subway Line 13 

Shuttle bus No.68 "Pick up" to Juyongguan Pass

Day 3 of our holiday -We started out early catching the Subway at Tinan'men East on Line 1 changing to Subway Line 13 and got off at Longze Station in Changping District,then waited for shuttle bus No.68  towards Juyongguan Pass.(Note the No 68 bus pick up is not well marked but is almost directly opposite the Station Exit)Our No 68 Bus developed an overheating problem and broke down about half way to the Great Wall .The Bus driver told all passengers to get off the bus.Fortunately a No.919 Bus was picking up some passengers nearby so we joined them and ended up at Badaling Great Wall Entrance instead of our planned Great Wall destination.(Luckily due to the cold weather,Badaling was not very busy with tourists so what we did was go up as far as the Cable way station on foot and desended with the Cable car) Also visited an excellent museum at the entrance level which is a must see at Badling.
